Ahhh, souvenirs. Many are free, like my rock collection (see post from some earlier date I am way too lazy to look up), but we did spend some money on a few shiny trinkets to bring home, either for us or for others.
This pink flask is one of my favorites. I've never owned a flask; isn't this one marvelous? It holds a wee 3 ounces.
We spent many evenings on the waterfront or in other areas where a wee nip went down mighty well. A flask helps you add warmth to a drink after a long hike or other outdoor pursuit without getting hauled off to a foreign (or domestic) jail.
The flask is from a company called Wild & Wolf, from their "Keepsake" collection. Check out their website to see all the other neato items from this collection.
We walk Braunton to Saunton, intending to catch bus at Saunton, except I read Saturday’s bus schedule instead of Sunday’s because it’s so easy to do that and we soon find out there is no Sunday bus service in Saunton.
Our main goal on Sunday every time we come to England is it to make it to a Sunday Roast Dinner. Usually we miss it. Today though we are lucky: we find a good place in Braunton and end the walk on a full-belly note. Total miles today: 11.5.
