I have a little problem with purses. Not anywhere near the Imelda Marcos shoe problem, but still, I own about five purses, which—considering you can only carry one at a time—is a bit extreme.
And sadly, the only reason my collection is limited to five is that I am very picky about what I want and do not want in a purse.
It's only natural then, that when I find one that meets my high specs, I should get it. But this time I didn't. And now I can't find the purse anywhere on the planet. And I have looked.
You know how the Queen and her posse wear Barbour waxed coats for their country pursuits?
You don't know?
Well, they do.
Barbour has been around since 1894. They are famous for their waxed jackets that last forever and look cool and are worn by the royal family.
So why didn't I get this Barbour purse? Because I have five purses already and I don't need another one.
No matter that's it's a waxed Barbour and can get wet and is cool and has some nifty pockets and a spiffy plaid interior, I left it behind. Sigh.
