Day of travel

Our flight was rebooked to fly out of Denver which is crazy to go two hours west and then two hours back east before heading over the Atlantic but what do I know?

We are now officially spoiled. Seats that lay flat!

At about 10 pm we reach our B&B in Barnstaple. Our day includes quite a variety of transportation modes:

Fly: Land at heathrow at 12:30 pm
Train: to Paddington Station
Taxi: to Stratford to take citizenship test. We are worried about time so we pay a shockingly exorbitant rate to make sure we get there. It's still painful.
Bus: back to Paddington. We see a sculpture that begs for an explanation. We have none.
Train: to Exeter. While on the train a kindly chap named Rob chooses a B&B for us, which we book right then and there. Tonight's place of rest is now decided.
Train: Exeter to Barnstaple. Completely uneventful except for the guys who start peeing before the bathroom door closes. Some never realize they are fully visible. There is drinking going on. (Them, not us.)
Walk: to B&B. Not so much by choice.
