We set off at 8:30 this morning, heading west to fill in this last section on this part of the south coast. We walk from our cottage in Treviskey down to the harbor to hook up with the South West Coast Path.
We reach the top of the big headland that was always waaay in the distance. The tiny village across the bay on the far left is Portscatho, our goal for the day. We try to guess how far it is and how long it will take to get there. In the end it will take three hours to walk around this bay, a distance of five miles. (Things are always farther away than you think on the coast path.)
